Ohio Invasive Plants List Serve

A list serve is a free, open electronic discussion forum for its registered subscribers. Any message posted to the site (and its reply) is sent by email to the entire group.

The Ohio Invasive Plants Council has an open list serve for people interested in invasive plant issues in Ohio. If you have questions or insights you wish to share with like-minded folks from across the state, sign up for the InvasivesOhio Listserve by following these instructions.

Go to: http://groups.yahoo.com

Type “invasivesohio” in the Search Box

Select “invasivesohio”

Click the “Join This Group” button

Type your Yahoo ID and Password, or Click “Sign Up”

Fill out the online form to register and create an ID and Password

Click the “I Agree” button

Yahoo! sends a confirmation to your email address, follow the link and instructions so that Yahoo! recognizes your user account.

There may be a delay while the “group owner” approves your membership. You will get an email containing a link to activate your account.

IMPORTANT

To avoid marketing offers from yahoo.com, enter your username and password to open your account. Click “Options” in the right corner. Click “Account Information.” Re-enter your password. Click “edit your marketing preferences.” De-select all the offers you don’t want.
